Presentation

Come and relax by this magnificent reservoir in the Valley of Happiness in the village of Camprieu.
A good place for swimming (unsupervised), picnics, fishing and relaxation.

Located in the commune of Saint-Sauveur Camprieu, upstream from the village, Lake Camprieu is a popular spot for holidaymakers and trout fishermen. Two pontoons provide wheelchair access for fishing.
(Departmental fishing permit required).

It is fed by the Bonheur River, which originates at Mont Aigoual. The Bonheur River then disappears underground at the Perte du Bonheur (Loss of Happiness) and reappears further on in the Bramabiau Abyss.
