The River House

Discover La Maison de la Rivière in the heart of the Cévennes village of Valleraugue! In this beautiful, recently renovated house, enjoy a large balcony offering breathtaking views of the river for a stay where nature and serenity meet.

Typical of the Cévennes valleys, our stone house, which we are currently renovating extensively, awaits you in Valleraugue, in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. Located on a pretty street in this charming village, its large balcony and terrace overlook the river, with views of the park opposite with its centuries-old trees and the mountains stretching towards Mont Aigoual.
Our house, now beautiful and comfortable, will be your haven for a wonderful family or friends' stay.

Housing
We have extensively renovated our family home using high-quality materials. Stone walls, double glazing, terracotta or parquet flooring, a fully equipped kitchen, shower enclosures, cozy duvets, baby equipment, local IGN maps, linen bed linen and matching bath towels available as an option...

House on 4 levels, with a large balcony and a large terrace overlooking the river:
- 4 bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room
- 1 separate bathroom
- Fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living room and balcony
- Cellar (changing room, pantry, storage space)
- Games room (books, games, television)
- Laundry room with washing machine and dryer

The environment
The playground is the Cévennes National Park... There's so much to do in and around the village! Hiking, walks, pétanque, lakes, caves, treetop adventure courses, canoeing, Mont Aigoual and its Climatograph... And every day you'll be amazed by our beautiful river. Magical meals on the shaded balcony. Drinks or relaxation on the terrace... And the village of Valleraugue also offers all the amenities (shops and services).

Remarks
The rooms are small but comfortable. Our house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, nor for very tall people (over 2 meters) because the ceilings are a bit low in some rooms.
A secure deposit of €1000 will be collected via SWIKLY.

Household linen
Kitchen towels are provided, as well as fitted sheets, for greater convenience due to the particular dimensions of our mattresses.
Duvet covers, washed linen pillowcases and matching bath linen are available as options to allow you to travel light:
- Double bed duvet cover (240 x 220 cm) with 2 square pillowcases: €15
- Single bed duvet cover (140 x 200 cm) with 1 square pillowcase: €8
- Bath towel + 2 washcloths: €3


Optional: Late check-out on Sunday (until 17pm): €40
