The people of the Cévennes have always cultivated the land and raised flocks of goats and sheep. This agro-pastoral system shaped the landscapes of the Cévennes thanks to the hard work of the farmers who had to terrace the arable land (for sweet onions, Reinette apples from Le Vigan, etc.), maintain the chestnut groves, and herd the flocks across vast, infertile expanses. It is these cultural landscapes that provide the setting for the brewery.
