A day spent in the company of clouds

During your vacation, you will experience moments of
discoveries, experiences rich in emotions.
Here is a sample, memories of moments lived
in the Southern Cévennes…

Paragliding

“My name is Benoît de Blic, I’m 55 years old. I discovered paragliding in the last century (in 1994), and I obtained my state-certified instructor’s license in 1999. So, I’ve been passionate about this sport for 28 years. The Séranne mountain range is one of the gateways to the Cévennes. The Roc Blanc offers a 330° view. It’s one of the most beautiful sites I’ve ever experienced in tandem flights. There were no training facilities or introductory flight options available, which meant people had to travel all the way to Alès or Millau to discover paragliding. Flying is a truly special moment; there’s nothing but the flight, the sound of the wind, the birds, and the landscape. A feeling of freedom, gliding in three dimensions, and views that change as you gain altitude! It’s hard to describe…”

My favorite place

My favorite official spot is undoubtedly the Séranne site. For students, it offers a 700-meter vertical drop (takeoff at 900 meters). For introductory flights, it allows me to fly for 35-40 minutes, gain altitude (we sometimes climb to 1500 meters), and explore (sometimes as far as the Thaurac massif). In short, it allows me to truly demonstrate and share this passion that has consumed my life for almost 30 years. There are many other sites in the Southern Cévennes, some are wild and should be discovered with local paragliders, each more beautiful than the last.
