Céline Pialot"The Beech Grove" Discovery Trail
L'Esperou
The small Canayère plateau offers a fabulous journey through time, on the scale of geological time but also, on the scale of the occupation of the site by man, from prehistory to the present day.
The various stops along this trail will allow you to understand the influence of man on his environment and on the landscape, its evolution in the recent past, by crossing from open agricultural and inhabited environments (hamlet, cultivation terraces, mill, lime kiln, etc.) to wooded environments over the last 150 years.
Several viewpoints punctuate the route, including this particularly spectacular one overlooking the Trévezel gorges. Enjoy your journey, then, through space and time!
