Presentation
The sanctuary is located in the commune of Brissac. It is one of the most ancient important places of prayer in the dioceses of Maguelone and Montpellier.
Located in southern France, north of the Hérault department in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the Sanctuary of Notre Dame du Suc is a place of pilgrimage and spirituality. Approximately 50 km north of Montpellier, 70 km from Nîmes, and 25 km from Le Vigan, it lies at the foot of the Seranne mountain range, on the edge of the southern Cévennes mountains, in the commune of Brissac, near Ganges. This sanctuary belongs to the Parish of Porte des Cévennes and the Diocese of Montpellier, within the Pic Saint Loup - Porte des Cévennes sector.
Apart from the days dedicated to pilgrimages, the basilica is open every Sunday afternoon. Visitors can freely access the various areas of the sanctuary during the day, such as the terrace, the Lourdes grotto, and the statue of Our Lady of the Mountain.
