Discovering exotic animals
Generargues
La Bambouseraie is an exotic garden unique in Europe which will take you on a journey across five continents. It offers an experience at the heart of plants where the preservation of biodiversity is a daily concern.
Created in 1856 by Eugène Mazel, the Bambouseraie is classified among the most beautiful gardens in France. You will find exceptional specimens there with more than a thousand varieties present.
So don't wait any longer and come admire all kinds of bamboo, but also Japanese maples, camellias, Ginkgo biloba trees and centuries-old giant sequoias, flowers...
The gardening area, the bamboo area and the bamboo snack bar are freely accessible.
Throughout the year, the Bamboo Garden organizes nature-related events. See the calendar on the website.
New since 2023: "The Quest for Aleya's Flower".
A treasure hunt to play with family or friends to discover the Bambouseraie in a different way. A fun approach where the sense of observation and deduction skills will be used. The issues implemented for the preservation of nature in the park will no longer hold any secrets for our visitors.
