La Clède - Gîtes de la Bastide

A panoramic site overlooking the Trèvezel Gorges, the hamlet of La Bastide is located in the heart of the Causses region, the Trèvezel Gorges, the upper Dourbie valley, and Mont Aigoual. A little way from the hamlet, the Bastide farm practices organic agriculture.

We also live in the Hamlet (3 houses inhabited year-round) and we will gladly share information about sites to discover in our beautiful region.

The cottages are independent. The houses are welcoming and well-suited for holidays with friends or family.
Some spaces are shared by all the inhabitants of the hamlet, such as the children's play area and the swimming pool (open from May to September depending on weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances).
Everyone is responsible for their own safety.
Special attention is required for children.

At the Hamlet we have installed a renewable energy boiler, using wood chips.
This allows us to supply the cottages with hot water and heating, among other things.
We have also implemented a phytoremediation system to treat wastewater and
solar panels for self-consumption.
Respect for the environment is a value that is dear to us.

To help you prepare for your stay, here is a description of the cottage.

La Clède (2/4 people):
You enter at the kitchen level, and three steps down you access
The living room and bathroom area. From the kitchen you have access to the mezzanine with a double bed.
You have a terrace at your disposal with its barbecue (charcoal not provided).

To better prepare for your arrival, we remind you that sheets (except for baby beds) and bath mats are provided.
Our cottages are equipped with duvets and pillows. Baby equipment is available on request (travel cots with mattresses, high chairs, baby baths).
Please remember to bring your own tea towels, bath towels, and hand towels. Each cottage is equipped with duvets and pillows.
Household products are provided.
The kitchens are equipped with dishwashers, filter coffee makers (no. 4 filters provided), kettles, toasters, microwaves, ovens, refrigerators, freezers... freezers (turned on upon request), raclette grills available upon request…
For barbecues we provide some wood but not charcoal.

Please let us know if you would like the cleaning option for your departure and if you require heating (in winter). These are extra charges payable on arrival. We need to know this in advance to make the necessary arrangements.

Our hamlet is quiet and isolated, and therefore we would like to point out that there are few shopping facilities nearby:
