The Hamlet of Villarel – Gîte “Le Château”

Hamlet of cottages for family events, seminars, group accommodation in the Hérault, near Montpellier and Pic Saint Loup.

Nestled in the south of France, at the foot of the Cévennes and the Larzac, and in the heart of the Gorges de l'Hérault, Le Villarel is a hamlet of gîtes isolated in the garrigue, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys.

Just a few minutes' walk from the Hérault River, the Saint-Étienne d'Issensac bridge and its chapel, you'll discover an exceptional setting. A supervised swimming area in the summer is only 200 meters from the hamlet, ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature.

Nestled in nature, the property welcomes you to a comfortable and friendly environment. By the end of 2027, Le Villarel will offer several cottages of varying sizes, accommodating from 4 to 18 people, for a total capacity of around fifty beds, as well as a reception room. You will also find spacious outdoor areas.

Villarel is the ideal place for your friendly events: holidays with family or friends, reunions, birthdays, weddings, stag/hen parties, outings with motorcyclists or cyclists, professional events and much more.

Its proximity to Montpellier, its airport and its TGV station makes it easy to organize your events, whether your relatives or colleagues come from all over France or from abroad.

Currently, the following cottages are open for booking:
- The Castle: 18 beds
- The Sheepfold: 8 beds
- Le Mazet: sleeps 4

The rest of the hamlet, including the reception hall, will be available for rent during 2027.
