Bed and Breakfast La Soleillade in the Cévennes

A source of energy for nature lovers, families and active holidaymakers. Our guest rooms are located in a peaceful hamlet 600 meters above the sunny Hérault valley.

At La Soleillade, four bedrooms await you, with a total of 14 beds. The bedrooms are located in separate units, offering true privacy. Each bedroom has a small outdoor terrace with chairs.

Two of these rooms are spacious double rooms; the other two are suites with ample space for families/groups of three to five people.

The former silkworm farm offers all guests a lovely space near the fireplace, with a dining area. On sunny days, breakfast and dinner await you in the shade of the pergola.

From the swimming pool, the panorama covers the entire Hérault valley as far as the mountain ranges on the other side. Behind the herb garden, there is the orchard, the vegetable garden and the beehives.

Well-marked trails and beautiful secluded paths for road and mountain bikes start right outside your front door. By car, you have easy access to all the incredible natural wonders of the Cévennes, such as via ferrata routes, canoe rentals, and introductory canyoning courses.

After a day full of experiences, you return at the end of the day to enjoy delicious regional French cuisine. The vegetables, herbs, and fresh fruit come from our organic garden, the cheese and meat from the neighboring village, all accompanied by a fine glass of wine from one of the excellent vineyards of Languedoc.

Evening meal:

If you would like to have dinner at La Soleillade, you can place your order the day before. The menu includes an aperitif, hors d'oeuvres, a main course, and dessert. The price is €27 per person (€15 for children aged 3 to 10). Wine, water, coffee, and tea are included.

The ingredients come from our organic vegetable garden or are supplied by regional producers in the Cévennes.

Group bookings such as gîte accommodation:

For groups, La Soleillade can be rented as a self-catering cottage. The flat rate is €300 to €360 per night. This rate includes the use of the fully equipped kitchen and access to all communal areas, as well as a wheelbarrow of firewood for the open fireplace. Fourteen beds are available. Extra beds for children are available upon request.
