Museum Overview

Explore our village's local heritage along old paths once in use. Along the way, you'll see hydraulic heritage, the old road from St André to Meyrueis, and a swimming area.

Before crossing the first stream, look for the gourgues, old millponds! Look up towards the Château de la Fare, of which only one section of wall still stands against the elements. On the descent before the Gardon River, you'll walk along the old road from Saint-André-de-Valborgne to Meyrueis.
Walk back along the river, and if the weather permits, take a refreshing dip! Remember to read the story of the ogre and the boulder that once crushed a wedding party... Safe travels home
