The Hérault Waterfalls - Short Out-and-Back Option

A trail to discover the first few kilometers of the Hérault river, before it rushes down the steep slopes towards the Mediterranean.

From the watershed between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean (Col de la Serreyrède), this trail winds through the forest clinging to the southern slopes of Mont Aigoual. Interspersed with various displays highlighting the fauna, flora, and forest management, the route progresses towards a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the Hérault waterfalls.
