Beatrice GalzinSt André de Majencoules
Saint-André-de-Majencoules
The road follows the Hérault river gently and winds around the hamlets. The climb is steep and long, but the view is breathtaking!
The first few kilometers are a pleasant warm-up up to Le Mazel, followed by a beautiful panoramic road to Saint-André-de-Majencoules, then Mandagout. After that, things get tougher, with the Col des Vieilles and the famous Col de La Luzette at 1351m altitude where Bernard Hinault himself had to dismount!
Just a little further to L'Espérou and then down to Valleraugue.
A 13% gradient awaits you there before Cap de Côte.
Facing due south, be prepared!
Valleraugue.
