Ascent of Mont Aigoual via the discovery route

The Aigoual Massif cycling area offers a variety of options for cycle touring, within the Cévennes National Park and dominated by the mythical Mont Aigoual.

These routes allow you to discover many sites and villages, from the Grands Causses to the Cévennes mountains and valleys.
Aigoual Massif Cycling Area: From the Alti Aigoual resort in Prat-Peyrot, head towards the summit of Mont Aigoual on the discovery trail along a gently sloping scenic road. Halfway up, enjoy the view and/or the observatory before descending back to the resort.
On sunny days, ideal for beginners, families, and for a relaxing break at the rest stops along the discovery trail.
Along this route you will be able to admire works from the Land Art trail "The balconies of Aigoual".
