Lake Pisa is a magical and relaxing place.
Come breathe, listen, sit and observe. This site offers a subtle blend of Nordic and steppe landscapes.

Lake Pises: a place to spend time with the family: picnics, hiking, stargazing, or simply to find some respite from the summer heat and discover incredibly unspoiled nature (crickets, grasshoppers, multicolored butterflies, grey herons)....

Located in the Lingas Massif, this artificial lake is nestled in the western part of the Cévennes highlands of Mont Aigoual. It lies within the Atlantic watershed that feeds the Dourbie River a little further downstream. Easily accessible in summer, the paved forest road leads to a parking area less than 800 meters from the lake's shores. Lake Pises is nestled in the heart of a forest, a transhumance route, or a peat bog (wetland).

Warning: Construction work, particularly on the dam, will be taking place. It is forbidden to venture under the dam. 
Be careful !

Hundred-year-old beech trees a few leagues from the banks will offer you welcome shade for your picnic.
- Trout fishing is allowed on the lake but regulated (minimum size of 23 cm).
Swimming is prohibited.

Road access from the Col du Minier, located on the D48, between L'Espérou and Le Vigan.
