Approved fishing and aquatic environment protection association whose area of operation is the Dourbie and Trévezel rivers. The 2026 fishing season, in category 1 waters, will open from Saturday, March 14, 2025 to Sunday, September 20, 2026.
The association's purpose, activities, and projects are:
- To hold and manage fishing rights within its area of responsibility (130 km of first-category waterways on the Atlantic side)
- To actively participate in the protection and monitoring of aquatic environments and their fish stocks
- Implement a fishery heritage management plan that includes technical measures and interventions for monitoring, protecting, improving and balanced exploitation of fish resources.
- To carry out, subject to the necessary authorizations, all work and interventions for fish farming development, such as fish inventories, the creation of reserves, and more generally, any action necessary to achieve the goal it has set for itself (see the action plan following the annual general meeting)
- To carry out information campaigns regarding the protection of aquatic environments and fish stocks
- To get closer to the Halieutitarn watershed association in order to conduct a coherent policy.
In general, the association can carry out all operations in accordance with the departmental guidelines defined in the statutory missions of the Gard departmental federation.
