Nature Outing: Listening to the Roar of the Stag

Join us to listen to the stag rutting calls from September 18th to October 10th, 2026, on the Aigoual massif. The observation outing will be preceded by a presentation indoors. Meet at 4:45 pm in September and 4:15 pm in October at the Col de la Serreyrède. Registration: +33 4 67 82 64 67.

Join local mountain guides to listen for the deer rut every Friday and Saturday from September 18th to October 10th, 2026. This observation outing is preceded by a presentation about the species. Meet at 16:45 pm in September and 16:15 pm in October.
Duration: 4 to 5 hours (including walk and presentation in the hall). Return around 21pm.
Please note: patience and discretion are essential. This outing may involve some walking and/or elevation gain.
Minimum age: 8 years. Maximum group size: 12 people
Prices: €22 / adults, €17 / children (8 to 12 years old).
Bring: binoculars or spotting scope if possible, headlamp or flashlight, walking shoes, warm, waterproof and discreet clothing (solid color, light or dark), gloves, hat, snacks for the early evening break (no noisy foods like chips, for example), no perfume. No dogs!
