Chestnut Festival

The Chestnut Festival in Lasalle returns for its 28th edition! A gathering where regional flavors and folklore come together to celebrate the treasures of the land. Farmers' market, entertainment, crafts, food trucks... A unique experience!

For 29 years, the Cévennes chestnut has earned the recognition it deserves, thanks to its exceptional quality and its connection to a territory recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The granting of the Cévennes Chestnut Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) has crowned this revival, providing our region with significant development potential.
Far beyond the direct economic impact, the chestnut here carries an undeniable cultural mark: the know-how of terraced cultivation, specific to the Cévennes, underlines a coherence between the landscape and its inhabitants.
The public's enthusiasm for the history and quality of life of our territory reaches its peak during the annual success of the Chestnut Festival, which welcomes more than 5000 visitors and 140 exhibitors of authentic agricultural and artisanal products each year.
