The Museum traces the sericulture past of the Cévennes through a unique collection: from the silkworm to the fabric, discover the secrets of production and weaving of this "golden thread".

The Silk Museum offers the discovery of its silkworm breeding maintained at all stages of the cycle (from April to October) in a reconstructed silkworm nursery, its ingenious machines and magnificent know-how.
Guided tours are regularly offered and two archive films on sericulture complete the visit. Contemporary textile creation is highlighted with a seasonal exhibition and a boutique of local artisan creators which also hosts the Soieries des Cévennes sales area.

From 15/03 to 24/12/2026, open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 14 pm to 18 pm. Closed on Monday and Sunday.
