Fremyc has been offering an exclusive experience since 2019! A via ferrata available for children aged 5 to 6, in the heart of the Gorges de la Jonte, to discover the first sensations of mountain climbing!

The Rousses route
The Via des Rousses is accessible to everyone as it has difficulty levels ranging from easy to quite difficult.

Along the riverbank, the via ferrata begins with a short climb offering two routes of varying difficulty. The more challenging route remains accessible as the overhang is minimal. The two routes converge at the start of the 30-meter zip line that crosses the water in the Tapoul Gorge. You can then choose to climb part of the cliff face or traverse to the right, ascending approximately ten meters. Continue following the river until you reach the end of the via ferrata.

Boffi's Way
Located 15 minutes from Millau, on the Causse Noir plateau, the activity begins with an approach hike. Once on the cliffs, you overlook the town of Millau and have a breathtaking view of the viaduct.

The Liaucous route
A 20-minute walk is required to reach the start of the via ferrata. It is rated from easy to extremely difficult. Along the cliff face, in a large rock crevice, balanced on a rope bridge, you can admire the stunning scenery above. You will have a choice of difficulty levels along the way. The difficult route offers a very exposed experience but is reserved for those in good physical condition. The two routes converge and then lead to a zip line, which will take you to the final obstacles of the course.

The Florac route
After a 30-minute approach hike, you'll reach the start of the via ferrata. Several levels are offered, from a beginner-friendly route to more challenging ones (fairly difficult, very difficult, and "abominable"). The route begins with a section called "the canyon." Once you've crossed it, you can enjoy the view of Florac. After crossing a footbridge, the route splits in two. The easy route leads directly to a large footbridge, while the difficult route climbs the rock face known as "Ron du Picar." Both routes end at the start of the zipline, which will take you to the final obstacles.
