Come and discover the Mediterranean slopes of Mont Aigoual, a favorite territory of the mouflon and many other wild species
Don't forget your binoculars, you'll have a chance to observe the mouflons.

Reintroduced in the middle of the last century, the mouflon is now one of the emblematic species of the Aigoual massif. But the approximately 250 individuals that inhabit this part of the National Park are not so easy to spot!
At the wildlife and mouflon observatory, located on the D986 between the village of Val d'Aigoual and L'Espérou, scan the Mediterranean and steep slopes in search of these animals, but also of many other wild species that populate the forests and rocky cliffs of this side of the massif.
In summer, the Cévennes Tourist Office and National Park offers guided nature walks every Tuesday to discover mouflon sheep. Information: +33 4 67 82 64 67
