Presentation

A great tour for lovers of significant elevation changes, with the added bonus of the summit of Aigoual!

You're circling around Aigoual! The "navel of France"!
A 360° view throughout your run, with a good elevation gain, but rewards at every turn, at every pass. And in the end, you'll be able to say: I did it!

This route offers a foray onto the Lozère side of Mont Aigoual, on roads ideal for cycling! From the Col du Salidès, head towards the village of St-André-de-Valborgne (Gard) where you can enjoy the local shops. The road then climbs through chestnut groves to the Col de L'Espinas, then the Col du Pas, followed by a winding descent to Valleraugue (possible rest stop, shops) before tackling the ascent of Aigoual (signposted). The climb passes through the village of L'Espérou at 1260m (possible rest stop, shops) before returning to the resort.
