The Plantiers
Mount Aigoual, Mount Lozère on one side, the Hérault valley on the other with the sea in the background.
Wood Pigeon Trail
This trail is a living testament to the history of the Cévennes. Even today, shepherds lead their flocks across these beautiful meadows. Day after day and year after year, the sheep sculpt and shape this landscape. In the past, travelers and transhumant herders would pass through and even stay overnight at the Bonperrier inn. Postmen would come up from Les Plantiers and Notre-Dame-de-la-Rouvière to exchange mail!
Today, this place remains magical with an extraordinary view of Mont Lozère and L'Aigoual, but also of the Hérault slope and the sea!
