Starting from Le Vigan, follow the riverbank then cross Avèze.
Join the Viaduct Promenade towards Arre, cross the village and continue along the old railway line. At Saint-Cau, turn left. At Trois Ponts, take the road up towards Arrigas. Just before the village, take the path that descends into the woods on the left. At La Bruyère, follow signs for Le Crouzet. Cross the D999 and continue up towards Le Crouzet. A path with panoramic views leads you to Lembrusquière. Join route 2 at Lembrusquière.
