A long but superb walk for lovers of wide open spaces that will allow you to discover the many facets of Mont Aigoual!
These routes allow you to discover many sites and villages, from the Grands Causses to the Cévennes mountains and valleys.
The departure is from the Prat Peyrot station, follow L'Espérou and descend the superb scenic valley of the Dourbie to the village of the same name, before climbing back up towards the Col des Rhodes and the Col de la Pierre Plantée.
By turning right towards Trier you will travel along a nice technical descent.
Crossing through the village and its friendly tranquility allows you to prepare for a beautiful climb and crossing of the Causse noir to Lanuéjols!
The route includes a passage through Lozère with the complete crossing of Meyrueis, before taking a section of the magnificent Gorges de la Jonte.
It's time to climb again, heading towards the Col du Perjuret, then the legendary Mont Aigoual, and descending via the greenway to Prat Peyrot.
