@maisondelelbes
@maisondelelbesIt is at the Col de la Lusette, overlooking the Taleyrac valley, that the tomb of the academician André Chamson and his wife Lucie Mazauric is located . André Chamson, born in Nîmes in 1900, spent a large part of his youth in Le Vigan , where his grandparents resided.
He "passionately loved the mountains" and wished to be buried near Mont Aigoual . André Chamson is the father of the writer Frédérique Hébrard, who is herself the wife of the actor Louis Velle.
A space at the Cévenol Museum in Le Vigan is dedicated to him.
