The Hérault Waterfalls trail takes you to discover the first few kilometers of this river, before it rushes down the steep slopes of the southern side of Mont Aigoual.
This path is narrow and steep, good shoes are essential.

From the watershed between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean (Col de la Serreyrède), or from the source of the Hérault (Prat-Peyrot), discover the fauna and flora of the Mediterranean slope, learn about forest management and enjoy a very beautiful viewpoint over the waterfalls.
Two circuits.
Departure: Maison de l'Aigoual, col de la Serreyrède or Station Alti Aigoual, Prat-Peyrot.
Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes or 2 hours
Distance: 6,4km or 5.6km

This trail is part of a network of forest paths and sites that allow visitors to discover the forest and wildlife of the Aigoual massif, in partnership with the French National Forestry Office (ONF).
